About the Department
Department of Sanskrit established in 2020.The Subject was introduced as Elementary Subject. In 2023 according to 'NEW Education Policy - 2020' Sanskrit Major, SDC/VSD,Miner were introduced from the Session 2022-23. B.A Pali course according to NEP Started from 2024-25.
Vision
To shape intellect of ideal citizens equipped with knowledge of Ancient Languages 'Sanskrit and Pali' and utilize Positive values for better future of Country.
Mission
- Department of Sanskrit and Pali will provide basic knowledge of Sanskrit and Pali to students and open unexplored areas of Ancient Knowledge through Sanskrit and Pali for future generations.
- To open new areas of Ancient knowledge so that students can aware of knowledge of Ancient Trade, Economy, History, Daily Life, Ayurveda, Meditation and Yoga.
- After acquaintance of Ancient knowledge from Sanskrit and Pali the students can able to do research in future.
Achievements
- Sharad Srivastav won Second Prize of Mandal stariya'Slokāntkshari Pratiyogita organised by 'Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sanstham' in 2021.
- In this year of 2025 all top three contestant tied but at last Neha Singh won 'third Position in Slokāntākhari Pratiyogita' conducted by 'Uttar Pradesh Sanskrit Sanstham'.
