About the Department

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the academic session 2019–2020 and has since grown into one of the largest and most sought-after departments of the institute, with nearly 950 students currently enrolled. It offers academic programs that are well aligned with modern technological advancements and industry needs.

A distinctive feature of the department is its state-of-the-art Artificial Intelligence Laboratory, which offers students hands-on exposure to advanced areas such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science. The department is dedicated to providing students with quality technical education and preparing them for the dynamic demands of the global industry. This is supported by highly qualified faculty, advanced laboratories, and a research-oriented environment. Students are actively encouraged to participate in research projects, workshops, seminars, training programs, hackathons, and industry-oriented activities.

The department also places a strong emphasis on innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup culture. Students are motivated to pursue creative ideas and several have already established innovative startups, receiving recognition at national and international levels in both technical and cultural events.
